Each individual patient matters. I have a strong desire to get to the root cause of a patient's symptoms. One of the reasons I went into sleep medicine as sleep affects the entire physiology of the human body. I love to think out of the box and consider new paradigms and approaches.
Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. He served as Chief Fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he trained in sleep medicine. Dr. Singh completed his residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Singh is board certified in sleep medicine and psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practiced psychiatry for 9 years and witnessed the benefit of identifying sleep disorders and treating them in his psychiatric practice. This motivated him to purse a fellowship in sleep medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, California Sleep Society, and American Medical Association. Dr. Singh has authored articles and given many presentations on sleep medicine.
