Dr. Snowball's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Snowball "Dr Halina Snowball is a Stanford University trained Physiatrist and Acupuncturist. She has won consecutive Top Doctor Awards in the tri state area for the past several years and is a Castle Connolly award winner (click here for more information). Her field is Muscular/Skeletal medicine - the treatment of pain management and mobility. Her philosophy is that the body is an integrated machine of moving parts. This view leads to a non-surgical, integrated medical approach to solving her patient's pain and mobility issues. Her approach to the use of medical treatments (injections, PRP, EPAT) in conjunction with non traditional medical practices such as yoga, acupuncture, sports massage, etc creates the foundation of her practice and leads to long term healing for her patients."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Snowball "Joints, muscles and the skeleton all work in concert to help us move. They are not individual components but rather a complex, integrated machine. Just as the integration is critical to our mobility, so can it be the cause of pain. By knowing how the body functions and how it is all connected we can eliminate pain and get you back to doing the things you love."

I have suffered from debilitating back pain for nearly 10 years. I have seen every expert there is. Dr. Snowball's advice and specialist recommendations have been the only ones to date that have yielded measurable relief!! She does talk quickly, but spends lots of time with me. She has a unique approach to body mechanics that are logical and sound. Some of the procedures, like the hyaluronic acid, were unfamiliar to me but helped my knee 100% and I am a skeptic!
