I’m a 64yr old male who was having a lot of trouble walking a straight line,my balance was horrible. Dr Lee read my MRI and said he could fix me. After a double laminectomy and a double fusion I feel like a new man. I’m now 6wks post op and walking 25-30 miles a week. There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude to Dr Lee & the Rothman group. Dr Lee made the scariest decision of my life a HUGE success.

After 3 months of experiencing severe pain in my left leg, with no relief using pain medication, physical therapy & an epidural injection, the pain continued. An MRI indicated my pain was due to a very large disc herniation at L3-L4 & severe central canal stenosis. I was referred to Dr. Guy Lee. Dr. Lee was easy to talk with & very personable. He thoroughly explained in detail the MRI & X-RAY. He recommended Lumbar Laminectomy L3-L4. I was concerned about having surgery at my age,79. Because I am still quite active & have no other health issues, he gave me the confidence I needed to have the surgery. I am so glad I had the Surgery & now able to enjoy an active quality of life again. I strongly recommend Dr. Lee.

I waited two months from surgery to write my review of Dr. Lee. Overall, I was extremely pleased with both pre-surgery consult and overall surgical experience. His staff has been quick to reply to any questions I had. As far as the success of the surgery....well....I guess time will tell. Up until 7 weeks post surgery, all of my leg pain was gone. Back pain was gone, except for a couple of spots on the top of hip area. In the past week, some back pain has returned and pain has increased in leg (outer calf area), which had caused near debilitation prior to surgery. So...hoping for the best.

Out of 4 surgeries to correct (fix) my spine I got a MRSA twice. I wouldn't go back to him. I don't want to die from his inability to maintain a sterile theater

This is the second time Dr. Lee has operated on my lower back. I will simply say, although I’m not looking forward further procedures, if he feels that becomes a necessity, I would not hesitate to follow his recommendation.

Dr. Lee changed my life. I had been in constant 247 pain for several years until I found myself curled up in a corner crying from the pain. Morphine and oxycodone got me to my surgery date but had their own post operative issues. Immediately after waking up in the recovery room I realized my pain was gone. I walked within 3 hours. Dr. Lees attitude and constant smile gave me confidence I was in good hands. I would recommend him to anyone having spine issues. He one of the most upbeat positive people I have ever met. God gave him a gift and he uses it wisely.

I did very thorough research prior to selecting Dr. Lee. He gets excellent peer recommendations. Everything about my pre-surgical consult went well. He is timely, efficient, and candid. No BS. Likewise with the actual surgery a few days later. Post-op has gone very well. At one-week post-op I am 100% satisfied.

Hi, I just had spinal fusion surgery by Dr Guy Lee on December 10 2019. After surgery instantly by back pain and numbness in my legs was gone. The only discomfort was from surgical pain but each week it was easier and easier. I actually could walk the next day after surgery with no more pain like before. Dr Lee has a wonderful personality and so down to earth. He is not snobby like some high surgeons tend to be. I could ask any questions and felt like I was dealing with a family member. Highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone dealing with horrible back pain issues. The best spinal surgeon around!! Thank you so much Dr. Lee ?? You are the best!

Amazing surgeon and individual. I had met with Dr Lee after having some unusual symptoms and he quickly determined that I had an extremely rare issue, a spinal cord aneurism . If not for Dr Lee’s spot on diagnosis, I would probably be dead. His knowledge, bed side manner, and surgical skill is unmatched in my view. For spine related issues, I would highly recommend him. Amazing !!!!

I’ll be going for my 4th surgery with Dr. Lee, I hold the record fir most surgery’s I’m told. While not a record to hold, every surgery was a complete success, not his fault I gotta bum deal with my back. I lived in pain fir years until I was introduced to Guy, I immediately said to myself: “this is the guy I trust”. That was back in 2008. Every surgery since has been successful and I have no doubt my 4th will bare the same results. Abington Hospital is the best also. Their new orthopedic wing is top notch and they have WAWA coffee in the cafeteria. Who could ask fir more?
