I had been to several providers trying by to figure out my problems over the past 2 years. I was ready to be talked over, dismissed and told things I didn’t want to hear. Instead I was relieved and pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Fischer patient, calm and genuine. He took time with me ( I know, amazing!) and listened. Even if my problems don’t get cured it’s so nice to be heard. Thank you!

After seeing a different orthopedic Dr. for several years, and not getting anywhere, and living in pain, I made an appointment with Dr. Fischer. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and most importantly he listened to me!! I scheduled my first knee replacement surgery during my first visit...something I’ve needed for years!! I’ve had nothing but a great experience with everyone in the office, from scheduling my appointment, to checking in, to the medical assistant who took me back to a room. I’m beyond thrilled that I have found such a great Dr. to provide my care.

In my situation with Dr Fischer, I found him intensely respectful, and one who was kind, answered all my questions and dispelled my worry and anxiety regarding surgical procedures. In the end, I did not need surgery, but Im not afraid of the future possibility given his medical attention.

This is a follow up to my review dated July 8, 2020, which was my initial (positive) visit. Dr. Fischer did my total hip replacement surgery on September 2, 2020. Everybody is different, so I won't go into details of my surgery or recovery, but I have felt so wonderful since the surgery! I am doing things I never thought I would get to enjoy again. Every day I think how lucky I was to have been referred to this amazing doctor! I have already told other people, and I will continue to do so. What a life changer!

After several years of searching for a solution for my hip pain, Dr. Fischer and his team performed L. Hip Joint Replacement. His cutting edge approach to the procedure saved me from extended recovery and additional pain. He also was remarkable in the skill evident in the surgery and after care. His staff are also wonderful and responsive. They were there every step of the way plugging through the various insurance and FMLA paperwork. I work in hospitals and clinics so I am very careful to find both a provider of skill and a support staff that can make sure my insurance goes smoothly. The Fischer team is excellent!

I was referred by my primary physician due to a nagging hip injury. This was an initial visit. Dr. Fischer was informative, kind, and encouraging. He explained the recommended next steps and why he was making that course of action. I had all my questions answered.

So far so good! Met with Dr Fischer this week as my hip has been getting worse over the years. I was so confident with our discussion, the scan results and his recommendations, I scheduled surgery to replace my hip and then my knee during the visit. Looking forward to less pain as I enter my 70’s. Plan to give glowing reviews post op as well.

It seemed like he wanted to exit the room as soon as he entered. He did not sit down & patiently explain or talk with me. I suspect my chart showed that I cannot take narcotics for pain. And perhaps that I'd seen 2 other Surgeons. Only when I asked about what the implant looked like, he left the room(with impatience in his voice), & showed me the model. When he left the room after a very short visit, he said over his shoulder: " Try meditation..." and something else.

My third right hip surgery was already scheduled with a surgical expert out-o-state when I first came to Dr. Fischer’s clinic. After meeting Dr. Fischer and learning of his plan for my hip, after hearing high praise from post-op patients in his waiting room, after witnessing the professional behavior of his office team, I canceled with the other surgeon and scheduled surgery with Dr. Fischer. Being my third surgery on the same hip, I wanted and needed an expert. I got it with Dr. Fischer. I feel blessed to have found him. It has been 12 weeks since my surgery and I’m happy to say my hospitalization and post op course went well — better than my two previous, less complicated hip surgeries. Dr. Fischer is pleasantly unique; he communicates well, he’s smart, kind and wise. I thank my lucky stars I found Dr. Fischer and he did my 2019 surgery.

Dr.Fischer repaired my shattered femur and three weeks later I became over-confident and careless and fell again. Since I had never had a bone break before and had a history of recuperating very quickly from any illness, I failed to pay proper attention toDr. Fischer's information re the time needed for bones to heal after a fracture. I thought I would be able to recover in a third of the time he said. Wish I had listened to him! A year after the initial break I needed another femur repair and a hip replacement. Both were done by Dr. Fischer and this time I listened to him, followed his instructions and enjoyed total healing. Dr. Fischer is the most compassionate and empathetic doctor. It is clear that he is seriously devoted to his patients and is interested only in successful outcomes for them.

Less than three weeks after hip surgery I am further along than I expected to be in two or three months. Have only a three inch incision as his technique is very non-invasive and results in a much quicker recovery. Excellent surgeon, very professional, easy to talk to, communicates with confidence, and performs above and beyond my best expectations.
