2/5/18 Dr.Vidal was very knowledgeable, intelligent, informative and most of respectful to our delicate stay in hospital. Sister admitted at Methodist UT with fever unknown origin with Dr. Vidal on call for West clinic. He made us very comfortable with our plan of care. The intern Dr. O(orenda?),was really a great source of information and bridge with family, tests, staff and doctors.

Dr. Vidal is not prepared when he talks to patients. I did not feel that he was very empathetic. I felt more like a statistic than a patient there. Breast Cancer is hard enough to deal with and you need to be comfortable with your medical oncologist.

Dr. Vidal has been my oncologist since August of 2015 and I can't say enough about him. He has always discussed my health in a way I understand and has been open to my every question and research (which was a lot!) and with such knowledge. He shows true care and compassion and makes you feel comfortable throughout the most difficult of processes and discussions. I am sorry for the first reviewer's experience, but it did not seem like the same person I have been seeing for all this time.

Dr. Vidal is one of the most ill-prepared and incompetent physicians I have ever come across; his staff either utterly fails in providing required medical information, or he cannot be bothered with reviewing material sent to him weeks in advance. His manner is condescending bordering on arrogance, and he becomes defensive and argumentative when his lack of appropriate preparation (i.e., "homework") in regards to his patients is pointed out to him. Would NEVER recommend based on experience.
