Dr. Thomas is an excellent surgeon. He is very caring and compassionate. He has excellent people skills and will take as much time as you need to talk and discuss your health care needs and concerns. He makes you feel at ease and confident in moving forward with your surgery and he is very encouraging through the entire process. I feel blessed that Dr. Thomas was the surgeon chosen to do my open heart surgery, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other patients.

Wonderful doctor/surgeon. Professional yet caring & kind and will tell you like it is. I hate that he is moving to Huntsville, AL but SO appreciative & thankful that he was my husband's surgeon, I think Brook was one of his last surgeries at Brookwood Shelby Baptist. We lucked out that he "just happened to have opening or was willing to make an opening the morning after meeting Brook for the first time. Nurses even told us if they need heart surgery, Dr. Thomas is who they would want.
