Total Hip Replacement by Dr. Stocks. My recovery was rapid and complete. I went from severe pain (before surgery) to essentially no pain by two weeks after surgery. I am back to being extremely active without any physical limitations. One thing that I found especially helpful was the ability to contact his Surgical Assistant, Brandon, via email when I had questions-- both before and after surgery. He responded quickly each time with good information.
in Long Island NY |
I had total hip replacement performed by Dr. Stocks in Nov. 2015. 9 months later I am playing golf and feeling terrific. Dr. Stocks is kind and considerate besides being an excellent surgeon with many years experience doing hip replacement. He is highly recommended. His support staff are great too.
in Houston, TX |
Not only an excellent surgeon but a very kind and caring professional. Excellent staff! Both my son and I walk today because of surgeries performed by Dr. Stocks. He is the best.
in TX |
Dr. Stocks damaged my husband's sciatic nerve during surgery, causing him to lose feeling from the knee down. Dr. Stocks stated he may have been a little rough during the surgery. It has been 5+ years and the leg has not healed. This has caused us much financial hardship. We have had to see many additional doctors at our own expense. Additionally, because of the damage, my husband was unable to return to work for almost a year.
in Spring, TX |
Dr. Stocks took the time to call me personally with my MRI results. He will be doing my hip surgery soon. I trust him fully and appreciate his knowledge and gentle bedside manner.
in Houston, TX |
I want to thank Dr Stocks and his staff on another successful hip replacement! Everything was top notch!
in Deer Park, Tx |
My experience with my knee replacement surgery with Dr Stocks was great. He's a very compassionate doctor not only about his surgery, but taking care of my serious health issues while under his care. I have the other knee to do after this one & there is no other doctor I would want to use except him. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me during this time. He is definitely a 5 star doctor.
in The Woodlands, TX |
Dr. Stocks introduced me to resurfacing. He could have simply performed a total hip replacement, but he was more interested in making sure a young(ish - I was 39), athletic individual had the best chance a remaining active. When the BHR was approved by the FDA, he studied overseas with Dr. McMinn (developer). I was Dr. Stocks' 12th BHR. Still going strong at 9+yrs & enjoy Crossfit, soccer, & other activities. Dr. Stocks listens, explains, and cares. Staff and hospital are great.
