In short, Dr. Schroeder completely changed my life. I'm a relatively young, healthy male, who's suffered from nasty neck pain since 2012. I'd been in and out of PT with limited relief, and something "flipped" in January of 2021...and the pain became completely unsustainable, along with (new) consistent numbness and pins and needles in my left arm/hand. I saw Dr. Schroeder, who performed a 3-level ACDF. I experienced immediate relief of symptoms upon waking from anesthesia. I'm now five months out, and completely pain-free. By month three, I was lifting weights, stationary biking, and doing basically everything that had been immensely painful for nearly a decade. I strongly suggest him. He's got great bedside manner, talks to you like a human being, and explains everything in as much detail as you need. Upon hearing that he would be my surgeon, everyone I spoke with leading up to surgery (prep docs, cardiac clearance doc, etc.) commented that he's an exceptional surgeon, and I agree.

I am being treated for a spinal infection that left damage to my spine causing pain. We are trying steps first to avoid any surgery such as p t. I have been very happy with my visits and hope my pain will come to an end in the near future without having to do any surgery.

Dr. Gregory Schroeder was recommended to me by a well known Neurosurgeon as the surgeon he recommended who could address the spinal issues that I have. His very excellent care has provided me with a thorough understanding of my conditions . He was able to remove hardware and rebuild my lower spine to to add other fusions. He has a great bedside manner and takes his time to explain the conditions in question. I have full confidence in his continuing care!

I went in with tingling in both my hands and arm pain that kept me up all night. I had a cervical fusion C5-C7 and the night of the surgery is the first night I was able to sleep. The results were amazing and my recovery wasn't bad at all. I was back to work within a week.

So far so good. A little worried about having another spine surgery w out any medication to help w the pain, according to the other comments... Concerning a bit bc the operation is a very painful one I wouldn’t of been able to do it without the meds last time and if I can’t have any I’m going to die lol

Interesting. He is mo an outstanding, top notch spine surgeon, no doubt but it was shocking to find out the symptons I had been experiencing were related to worsening arthritic cervical spine and surgery very much required. The survey hgv erc was outstanding and successfully but I spent a month in rehab (physical therapy) with barely any pain medication that made recovery tortuous. Until pain medication prohibition is lifted, vetoed or whatever, you must be advised ahead of time of the suffering. My only criticism of Dr. Schroeder is a seeming lack of follow up concern.

Today Dr. Gregory Schroeder performed a "lumbar decompression microdiscectomy" and I simply cannot express my gratitude to him (hopefully he reads this). From day 1, he made sure not to over-promise the results making it clear that nerves take a while to recover and sometimes they don't. Well I had my surgery at 6.30am today and I've been walking around since 10am non-stop (>6 hours) with NO pain (besides the incision). Dr. Schroeder gave me my life back and I'm eternally grateful! He takes his time with his patients, explains things slowly and carefully and gives you time to think and ask. One thing that I appreciated is that during our first visit, after discussing my history and symptoms he did NOT recommend to jump into surgery like other doctors did (I got 3 opinions that week). He decided to get a new MRI because the symptoms have changed and wanted to be able to understand the root cause. Only after that, after a true diagnosis he recommended surgery. Thank you Dr Schroeder!
