He went on to complete his medical internship and serve his residency in Ophthalmology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. As part of his learning, his many accomplishments include a Fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at the University of Iowa. Board certified in Ophthalmology, Dr. Panzo is a past Chief of Surgical Staff of Leesburg Ambulatory Surgical Center and a member of the American Glaucoma Society, which promotes the advancement of education and research in eye health care. Dr. Panzo is also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and has served as the Chief Resident at the Cleveland Clinic. A highly regarded expert in the field of eye health, he has been selected by international ophthalmic companies to lead vision-saving investigations to improve sight for patients with cataracts, glaucoma or dry eye conditions.
