Dr. Pamel performed multifocal cataract surgeries on both eyes for my wife about 2 years ago. THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN CATASTROPHIC! Since the surgeries we have conferred with 3 top ophthalmologists. WE FEEL VERY STRONGLY DR. PAMEL RUSHED US; WAS NOT OBJECTIVE AND THOROUGH; HE RECOMMENDED AND PERFORMED THE WRONG SURGERIES CONSIDERING THE PROFILE OF THE PATIENT! WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A SECOND OPINION BEFORE WE PROCEEDED WITH DR. PAMEL. (NOTE LASIK IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM CATARACT SURGERY!!!) IN ALL FAIRNESS TO DR. PAMEL, THE OPHTHALMOLOGISTS WITH WHOM WE ALL AGREED THAT DR. PAMEL'S SURGERIES WERE FLAWLESS, and that the monofocal surgery does not satisfy all patients. Nevertheless, a flawless surgery that probably should not have been performed to begin with has limited consolation; the surgeries cannot be reversed without very high risk; and although we continue to pursue solutions to the problems that have resulted from the surge

Just amazing. I have spend a lifetime with half-inch thick "coke bottle" glasses and this man has freed me from them at a high Myopia of -20 with past history of retinal detachment. Even with glasses, I was not capable to see as clearly as I do now. Just a miracle... Wish I would have found him years ago

I highly recommend Dr Pamel. I injured my eye and needed to find a doctor...I came across him in my insurance network, checked out his patient reviews and called for a same day/urgent issue. His office called me back and fit me in, even though he was fully booked. He was on time, very approachable, took time to examine my eye and explain the issues and treatment. Dr Pamel, his assistant and entire office staff couldn't have been nicer.
