I like Dr. Lauro cause when I first went to about my left knee he explain about what was wrong with my knee. I had no cartilage in my left knee. It was bone on bone. On April 10th I had the surgery and I went through alot of physical and occupational therapy. I even had home health, physical and occupational therapy in my home. I just had my 3 month check up and Dr Lauro was happy with the progress I was making. I recommend Dr. Lauro to anyone.

I have osteoarthritis in both hips, the left hip was causing the most issues by far. Dr Lauro performed a left hip replacement 5 weeks ago. I attribute the progress that I have made to Dr. Lauro. I don't think I would be doing as well as I am without him getting everything right regarding the surgery and hip replacement. All of the pain and discomfort I had before the surgery is gone. The quality of my life is so much better than I could have anticipated. His PA Emily and staff are great!

Dr. Lauro is an experienced professional who understood what pain and problems I was having. He scheduled my hip replacement surgery as soon as possible after my initial exam and when I awoke after surgery the pains and problems that I've been fighting with for years were gone. To me Dr. Lauro is a soft spoken gentleman who is very polite, keeps you well informed of what procedures he wants to take to heal you and does a great job of following through with his surgery.

Dr Lauro performed a Bi Lateral hip replacement on me three weeks ago. I can't believe how smoothly the procedure went. I have had remarkably little pain, mostly centered around the two incisions, I have been off the pain medication since week two, taking only occasional Tylenol to smooth out the mild discomfort. From the first office visit Dr Lauro was attentive, informative and answered every question I had. I was impressed by his professional demeanor and no nonsense approach.

My experience with Dr. Lauro was very positive. At my first appointment, an X-ray was taken of my right knee. He was thorough in explaining the problem and my options. The surgery was scheduled in a timely manner and had a very successful outcome.

I had a knee replacement surgery on 1-9-2016. I am only 56, but my knee was really bad. Dr. Lauro is a very nice doctor and my surgery went very well.
in Latrobe, PA |
I went to see Dr. Lauro in June about my right hip. He wanted to perform a full hip replacement(anterior method) ASAP. I decided to wait until after hunting season. I wish I had listened to him. By then I could hardly walk at all or lift anything. I had surgery February 1st and was walking twice the day of surgery, most of the pain was gone and no limp. Within a week I was using a cane only, and after three weeks no cane at all. I highly recommend Dr. Lauro for this procedure! Ken Cogan

I had a partial knee replacement done by Dr. Lauro. Dr. Lauro explained everything very thoroughly. He answered any questions or concerns that I had. The morning of my surgery he also talked with me. During my hospital stay he spoke with me daily and was genuinely concerned about how i was doing and asked if I had any questions.

Visited Dr. Lauro to have my wrist evaluated, was told I would be given a brace to wear and that would be it. After he left the room a woman entered and gave me a brace, put it on for me, and I was on my way. Quick and easy. Ten months later I was billed by Hanger Clinic in Chicago. Turns out this woman was from Hanger, I was never informed I would be charged separate for this nor was I asked if I wanted this brace. Long story short, I was scammed. Well played Dr. Lauro.

Dr. Lauro replaced my hip 7 years ago. His office staff is wonderful to speak with and he takes his time during office visits. Never rushes you through and answers any questions thoroughly and honestly.

Dr. Lauro was wonderful. I had many orthopedics problems that arose from another doctor and Dr. Lauro handle all of them without a problem. It has been a long year but I do not know what I would have done without Dr. Lauro's expertise in his field and his great care the he provided me.

My girlfriend Jessica is pregnant with bilateral CTS. Dr. Lauro was excellent with her. He was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend him to anyone. She raved about him and the staff. True professionals!!!
Latrobe, PA |
My son was refered to him for a seperated collarbone. He literally did nothing kept him in a sling no therapy, nothing. My son had years of problems with his shoulder that he just got surgically fixed by another doctor.

Tried to suggest that the majority of my back pain was due to my years of smoking and not the djd and bulging discs. I know you don't like smoking g doc, but wow that's bad! Then I made the mistake of bringing my letter from the other doctors office asking him for a second opinion. He read me the other doctors letter and simply agreed with it, Lazy!!!!!
