I was seen 2 hours late. Doctor seemed tired and I was rushed during my appointment. He didn't bother explaining any of his theories and rushed to surgery as the only solution. I left with more questions than I came in with. I do not recommend this doctor at all.

I saw Dr. Haber for the first time a few weeks ago. I was diagnosed with a rare ampullary adenoma (small intestine), and I met with the doctor to ask a lot of detailed questions about the procedure. It took 2 months to get in to see him. I waited one hour after my scheduled appointment. BUT, once I got in, he let me ask all of my numerous, detailed questions, and gave me all the time I needed to get a clear picture of the upcoming surgery. Superb bedside manner. I would wait any amount of time!

Ya know, this is New York City, and I refuse to believe that there is only one Gastroenterologist who knows what he's doing. I was pretty pissed off with the wait at the office, scheduling for procedure four months out, and the general lack of attention from his staff. They treat patients like shooting fish in a barrel; easy to get! Sorry. This is totally ridiculous.

Dr. Haber is the best doctor I have ever had. He helped me and listened to me when no one else would and he gave me the best care possible. I am actually going back to him. As for the waiting he is worth it. I would wait months in a waiting room to see him because he knows exactly what he is doing and explains everything extremely well. His bedside manner is excellent and he won't let anything slip through the cracks. I highly highly recommend him.

I was diagnosed during my first colonoscopy to have a polyp in a very difficult area to access. My doctor tried two separate times and was unable to reach it. The alternative was a surgical resection. My Doctor suggested I consult Dr. Haber, in his words "the best in the world" I met with Dr. Haber and his staff who nonchalantly said "I can do that" And he did. I am thrilled to report that he did the impossible and saved me from having an invasive surgery. Thank you Dr. Haber!

He was highly recommended to me. made appointment. showed up 5 minutes early. reception room was packed. no place to sit. people complaining about the wait. one couple said they once waited 5 hours to see him. i waited two hours and then left. i don't care how good of a doctor you are, if you overbook yourself, it is more about the money than the lives of the people you treat. (he was there, too. not like he was stuck in surgery. no explanations. Nope. not again.

Undoubtedly, the BEST Gastroenterologist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and being under his care for a major procedure. Very personable, as he had just met me and added me to a "Special Program" which included a total of 8 patients with unusual circumstances; it was filmed and streamed throughout the NYC medical community. Dr. Haber also invented the stent that was placed into my pseudocyst measuring over 17 x 13 cms and was able to drain nearly two liters of "Poison" he is great!

Dr. Haber provided me with by far the worst car I have ever received. I was referred to him by another GI Doctor because Dr. Haber had privelages at NYU. I was admitted with abdominal bleeding and over the five days I was there I spoke to Dr. Haber for five minutes before and after my endoscopy. Him and his team did not listen to my prior history nor did they explain any options moving forward. As someone who works in healthcare I would strongly recommend against having Dr. Haber as your doctor.
