When I first started with Dr Gimbel he was a very caring, compassionate doctor. As I dealt with uterine cancer and issues related to that he became less about me as a patient and more about my weight. When I went to him having issues with my hysterectomy he did not want to talk about that but rather wanted to push for me to have weight loss surgery. Not once was he concerned with my mental health in dealing with cancer nor did he find my concerns to be important.

Dr. Gimbel is a good doctor, no complaints there. he takes the time to listen to your questions/concerns, and I never felt rushed. But his staff is terrible. They are rude, don't return phone calls, and keep you waiting on hold for long stretches of time. There is no accountability among his staff. Generally appointments are not on time and they have stupid policies like making you fill out a legal release to get access to your own records. Idiotic.
