I had total ankle replacement done by Dr. Berlet. I saw 2 other doctors to get their opinion and I chose him, and I'm glad I did.

Dr. Berlet reattached both Achilles tendons after a strong black box anti biotic drug cause my tendons to rupture. It took about one year. but I am now back to normal and the tendons are healthy once again. DR BERLET IS SIMPLY THE BEST. One doctor I went to had to consult others in my case, not Dr. Berlet. He knew exactly what to do. He also used combination block and anesthesia for pain, and I only had to take a few pain pills during my recovery. He is an amazing doctor.

I used to run competive marathons competing in Boston several times. A few years ago I seriously sprained by ankle inward. I continued running and water skiing on it until I completely destroyed a major ligament and also the talus . I could only walk on a beach one way as the slope caused excessive pain. After my first meeting it was determined I would need two surgeries. One to replace a ligament the second an ankle replacement. Both went spectacular. Today I walk and ski with no pain thanks

I had foot surgery a week ago and Dr Berlet did an amazing job explaining what he planned to do, look for and that he will adjust the plan if necessary once he got in there. His team is excellent and I received top notch care.

Dr. Berlet was recommended to me after I had two ruptured Achilles tendons from an antibiotic called Levaquin. related to Cipro. He repaired both of them in the course of one year. Both of the tendons were reattached with ease and success. He is very knowledgeable and quite skilled as a surgeon. His follow up with physical therapy details is very detailed and precise, as is his approach with his patients. He talks in a recorder detailing directives and findings so as not to miss anything

Dr. Berlet was as good a physician as I have ever experienced. He first got to know me a bit, then listened intently as I explained my injury and my concerns. After that, he educated me regarding my injury and told me what to expect regarding treatment. He was empathetic, knowledgeable, a good teacher and a good listener. I would highly recommend him to anyone who's in need of a competent orthopedic physician.

Follow up: 8weeks after surgery I am starting therapy, bearing full weight with with almost no pain. 12 weeks post surgery, I have moved past therapy and rehabbing on my own. Dr. Berlet has released me for work following some additional strength and conditioning training. To clarify my story somewhat, I’m 55 y.o., 220 lbs 6’1” fire fighter so I had been very concerned whether I could return to work. Well, no problem! I recommend Dr Berlet to everyone I know with ankle issues.

Dr. Berlet came highly receommended to me from a friend for whom Dr. Berlet had done ankle surgery to repair a hockey injury. My case was quite minor needing some bones in my toes shaved to correct painful rubbing. Dr. Berlet and his staff were professional and caring. They made it clear every step of the way that satisfaction with my results with the least invasive procedure was their goal. I am just one week out and have been pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Berlet!!
