This content was provided by Dr. Albert "Gregory Albert, MD, MPH, FAANS, FACS, FAAP is the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Arkansas Children's Hospital and an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Iowa and then completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Albert is the only neurosurgeon in Arkansas to be certified by the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery. Dr. Albert sees, admits, and operates on patients up to 21 years of age at Arkansas Children's Hospital. He also maintains satellite clinics in Lowell and Jonesboro. Dr. Albert practices the full range of pediatric neurosurgery with a particular interest in the surgical management of epilepsy and the management of patients with traumatic brain injury. Dr. Albert is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons, the AANS/CNS Section on Pediatric Neurological Surgery, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP)."
