Experienced, trustworthy, excellent surgeon. Recommend highly.

Dr. K has great relations with his patients. He’s easy to talk to, takes time to listen, and is frank about possible options for treatment plan.

Excellent bedside manner. Dr K explained everything to me in terms I could understand.

Dr. K is the best! I broke my foot on vacation here in Colorado and couldn't have landed for treatment in a better facility with Dr. K and staff
Dr. Koldenhoven has been seeing me since my injury in February 2017. Dr K and all staff have always treated me well-caring and professional. My injury left complications beyond the initial break (a nasty wound and infection) and his office has done a great job of communicating with me, and the rest of my care team. They have called to check on me, out of the blue, and I feel they truly care about my rehabilitation.

I have seen Dr. Koldenhaven for over two years for serious foot problems. He has been very understanding, helpful and honest. I never felt rushed or that he didn't hear my concerns. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Koldenhoven and his staff have all been exceptional in every aspect from the initial visit through surgery and post-op.
Longmont, CO |
Dr. K recommended surgery for a hammertoe and to correct a painful tailor's bunion. I had the surgery, and my foot is much worse than it was before surgery. The bunion is even more pronounced and painful, and it's very hard to find shoes that don't cause pain. Also, my hammertoe is starting to move over my big toe again. After the surgery, one of his assistants removed the stitches and it was so painful, I was in tears. She had no compassion for me, and said nothing in response to my pain.

My right foot was injured in a car accident. After a surgery I was still in too much pain, due to a lot of scar tissue build up, which needed some delicate attention with another surgery. I was referred to Dr. K for this surgery, and boy am I Glad!! He is Amazing!! He took such wonderful care of me, answering all my questions clearly and treating me with kindness and respect. I'm so grateful for Dr. K, and the wonderful staff. I am healing well now, thanks to his amazing surgical skills.

I was very pleased with his interaction with me and how we decided to move forward with the pain I was experiencing. Thank you!

I went and saw Dr. K for an injured gastroc muscle in my right leg. It was pretty painful (couldn't walk/get up and down stairs) and I wasn't sure if it was torn or sprained. He provided a quick and precise eval -- luckily NOT torn. He sent me down to their PT and I'm happy to report everything is back to normal. Really appreciated his funny, but professional, demeanor. If ever I'm unlucky enough to have to visit again, I'm happy it'll be Dr. K to take care of me. Thank you!!!

I ended up completely breaking my right fibula in multiple places in addition to tearing several ligaments while out for a run. It was questionable if I would ever run again. Dr. Kolkenhoven performed my surgery a couple of days later and put a plate and ten screws in my ankle. My recovery was long but progressive. During the entire time, Dr. Koldenhoven and his staff made sure that all of my questions were answered and looked out for my best interests. I am completely back to running.

I scheduled an appoint. w/ Dr.K.for a 2nd opinion as to the reason for the severe pain I was having from a previous neuroma surgery. At my 1st consult. w/ Dr. K he suggested a 2nd neuroma surgery. Surgery was scheduled shortly thereafter. Over the following 7 months he saw me only 3 times!.Not ONCE during those OVs did he examine, hold, touch or otherwise act concerned about the continued, constant pain in my foot! Avoid Dr.K!!!! PS.I needed a 3rd surgery from a different Dr. to fix my foot!
