I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Calvert and his staff. He performed spinal fusion on my L4/5 vertebrae in 2014 and the surgery was s complete success. I was pain-free for five years. Now I am entrusting him to do similar surgery on my L3/4. I have complete confidence in him as a surgeon, but I also am so impressed by him as a person. He is what all doctors should be.

I had this neck injury since about 2014,been through a lot of doctors. After about 4 years of paying out money , I came to sports medicine . Dr Calvert did my neck surgery and in about 3 1/2 months I’m back at work with no pain. I have talked to other people that had the same surgery ,they told me that other doctors did their surgery but was still having problems and had to get it done again . I always tell them to go to sports medicine to see Dr Calvert, they are the best in the state.

Great overall experience. I would recommend Dr. Calvert and his staff to anyone. Dr. Calvert’s office was able to get me an appointment immediately after an injury when no other doctor could get me in within the next month. Everything Dr. Calvert told me or recommended turned out to be correct and the best option. Also, his nurse, Megan, is very knowledgeable, down to earth, and just all around awesome.
