Brilliant man. Takes his time through the physical. Treats the person, not just the malady.
in Derby, CT |
This Physician spends as little time with you as possible during an office visit. he always act like he cannot wait to end your visit, and he makes you feel very rushed, as if though he doesn't even want to hear about your symptoms. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!!!

I disagree with the poor reviews concerning Dr. Rich personally. I have found him to be knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to explain everything to me. He is very matter of fact, but he is a professional, not there for a social call. The office staff, on the other hand, is completely worthless. You can stay on hold forever. They will hang up on you. Incompetent in person as well. They would make one change doctors quite frankly. You are better off with DMV staff than these people.

Dr. Rich has never spent more than 15 mins with me in any visit over the last 4 years. He has the personality of a wooden block. When we go to his office to "talk," it is only to dispense medication. He hardly even explains what the meds are for. I needed him to spend all of 2 minutes today to fill out a form and I was told to drop off the form & bring it back because he was with patients all day. I arrived and the waiting room was completely empty. I will be changing doctors.

This is the worst office staff ever. I have been with this doctor for more that 4 years and I always think my experience will be better at my next appointment but unfortunately it has never improved. The staff is unfriendly, unhelpful and lacks any regard for customer service. I am looking for a new doctor.

By far the worst office staff I have ever experienced. I have been with this doctor for 4 years and I keep thinking that it will be a better experience next time I have an appointment. After another awful, unfriendly, unhelpful, lack of consideration, no sense of customer service response to my questions, I have had it. I will be looking for another doctor.
in Fairfield, CT |
I had a very bad experience with the office who in the past two years that I was with them, refuses every time to refill my thyroxine medications without a doctor's visit. I cannot understand the reasoning, as I have regular bloodwork and yearly physicals which have all shown a stable level. The office people are very rude and go out of their way to make things difficult. I have had enough and will change doctors now.

Dr. Rich has been my health care provider since 1999 and even when I moved an hour away I continued to keep him as my primary due to my trust in his clinical expertise. I have never waiting in the waiting room more than 5 minutes and he comes to the exam room within 10. Fast, easy and excellent overall care.
