I was nervous about this procedure but Dr. Fujinaka put me at ease. He thoroughly explained every step as we went through the deep cleaning. He used a device in my mouth when he gave the novocaine that helped ease that pain. It's about 6-8 inches long and vibrates. Dr. Fujinaka explained how it helped, and it did make a difference. He asked me how I was doing thoughout the procedure. He really cares about his patients. Going to a periodontist isn't what most people want to do but you're in excellent hands with Dr. Figinaka.

I first met Dr. Fujinaka years ago after losing my front tooth in an accident. He was very calm, empathic and friendly then and I have trusted him ever since. His waiting room is inviting with beautifully arranged flowers and a fountain with running water. My hygienist is professional and thorough and I would recommend this office to anyone wanting to be well taken care of.

Everything about this office is highly professional and detail-oriented. The staff are attentive, well-organized, and punctual. The office is beautiful, with a view of a beautiful Zen garden, and immaculate. Dr. Trevor Fujinaka spent a lot of time explaining my procedure to me, and constantly made sure I was comfortable during my surgery. He is well-trained, up-to-date on the latest technologies, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Trevor Fujinaka.

Dr. Fujinaka and his staff were amazing. There is a peaceful courtyard view from his dental chair. Staff took a thorough medical history. Dr. F. was very friendly and concerned. He performed an extremely thorough examination and explained all of my treatment options in more detail than I expected. It was by far the best medical appt. I have had in years.

Dr. F is the perfect dentist for all of us who are terrified (sometimes there is just no growing out of certain fears) of dental work. The follow-up visit to remove the stitches after the gum surgery was a little more uncomfortable than I anticipated, but his calm demeanor and gentle touch got me through. Gum grafting is an art and Dr. F is a patient, detail-oriented professional. The new donor tissue process spares us from the roof of the mouth pain (yay), but it can't build as thickly. My gums healed quickly and the results make quite a difference in covering the worst of my receded gums. The tissue is healthy and happy, thanks to his care. I will be back to complete the rest of the work.

I had been informed that my scheduled hygienist whom I had looked forward to seeing was unavailable. Instead the day before my appointment, I was scheduled with a different hygienist, one unfamiliar to me. I was very disappointed, but decided that my oral needs superseded my feelings of disappointment about the change. I kept my appointment date. Well, I learned a valuable lesson! The new (to me) hygienist was cordial, experienced, thorough with my exam and cleaning, as well as most professional. She answered my questions with courtesy, and even gave me "homework" to enhance my self care. We had great rapport. It was a marvelous cleaning experience! What one expects at Dr. Fujinaka's office. The Fujinaka team has yet again made going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. This was my third visit and it won’t be my last. Regarding my initial visit; I was in extremist, I was suffering from a rather advanced abscess. This is a father/son team with extraordinary talent (Both of whom are doctors). They are complemented by an equally talented array of supporting team members from the front desk to the hygienist, ‘Easy on the eyes too, if you know what I mean’. My other two visits were to return my gum health fro the brink of catastrophe. Each visit was absolutely pain free, undoubtedly because of the great lengths they too to ensure this was the case. I highly recommend them... period!

All of my visits have been quite pleasing experiences and each visit was professionally handled. Appointments started on time. Dr. Fujinaka always asked if I were comfortable during the treatments and he always explained what he was doing. All of my questions were answered. He and his assistant (I do not recall her name) both get high marks for their quality of work and work ethics from me. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a dental implant.
