Delaware, OH |
Nice doctor who is very adept. Staff are incompetent, neglectful, and rude. Doctor is nearly impossible to be reached for questions without an appointment. His staff are a barrier to provision of good care.

I often wait 45 minutes to an hour to see the doctor, and this makes me wonder if the office staff purposefully over-schedule patient visits. As far as scheduling goes, it's not unusual to get a voice mail box that is full where I can't leave a message. More often, I am able to leave a message that gets returned later rather than sooner. Despite apparent office management issues, I have had good outcomes with the treatment provided by this doctor.

5 STARS in every field! I was a nurse before getting sick and my back problems are only an exacerbating issue! When I say getting sick, I mean I had a tumultuous trend of horrendous things to deal with, and that having been said, not many doctors understood me as " the entire patient"! But Dr McDowell was able to see me for who I really was and what was really wrong. He gave me HOPE, Less pain, and a plan! He's the one to give HOPE to all those others have given up on! Awesome man!!!!!!!!!!

I had been going for 2 years and was a few minutes. Even though I was on medication what causes seizures it just stopped, he sent me a letter and juse dropped me. They would not release my records so I could not find who see me before they got my records. I ended up in the hospital because I got so see of just my med being stopped.

Very easy to get an appointment, I have noticed a TON of new patients and I believe the reason for that is they take too long to see patients, if you have an issues it takes more than 24 hours to receive a call back. I don't feel like this office truly cares for their patients just collecting copay a and insurance money, I think that is why there is such a high turn over.

When I finally found Dr. McDowell I had been turned down by 7 other day Dr.'s because they all said I was to complicated of a case. When I went to see he he was up front and honest with me told me I was at the ground level and he would do his best to get me up on the levels but he could not promise that he could get me to the very top. I have had RSD for 11 1/2yrs. I have been with Dr. McDowell for a little over 2yrs. I have done a 360 and improved more then I thought I ever could.
