Dr. Romeo put me on 40 mg Atorvastatin (Lipitor)--a high starting dose--although my cholesterol was fine. I developed liver damage--a known side effect of Atorvastatin. Although I made two phone calls to Dr Romeo to tell him I was nauseous, he never suggested getting bloodwork done. Thank goodness...more
