Took the time to explain all facets of my previous and current tests. Obviously familiarized himself about me before my appt. so far, so good!

Dr. Romeo put me on 40 mg Atorvastatin (Lipitor)--a high starting dose--although my cholesterol was fine. I developed liver damage--a known side effect of Atorvastatin. Although I made two phone calls to Dr Romeo to tell him I was nauseous, he never suggested getting bloodwork done. Thank goodness I have a competent PCP, who did. Now my urine is brown, my stools are pale, I'm nauseous and weak, I can eat no more than a couple of crackers at a time, and my diabetes control is destabilized.
