My appointment was at 12:30pm, I waited until 4:00pm and never had so much as a Nurse come in and check my vitals or talk to me. That is 3 and 1/2 hrs, there is absolutely no excuse for such terrible service. As much as I respect Dr. Simon and In doing so have overlooked such long wait times in the past I think 3 and 1/2 hours is a new level that I no longer choose to contend with. Thanks for your service in the past but I need a physician more time conscious of their patients than 3 and 1/2 Hours.

Dr. Simon is one of the most nicest and compassionate physicians I have ever seen. I have been in the medical field since 1983 and he is by far the of the best. I chose Dr. Simon to take care of both my mother and my father for geriatric care. He is not your typical doctor. He takes the time to listen to you. He engages with his patience in a manner where they trust him from the very get-go. You don't find doctors like Dr. Simon much anymore. Most physicians Seether patients for the 15-20 minutes allotted. Not Dr. Simon… The visit is over when you're done asking questions and the game plan is put in place. There is nothing that he would not do for his patients. I truly believe that he was born for this profession! His office staff also are top notch. They are all very friendly and will help you with most anything. Kudos to Dr. Simon and his staff for an outstanding job at taking care of patients the RIGHT way!

The reason for my review is due to him coming up in a conversation about BAD Docs. To be fair I’m sure he has all the qualifications to be in practice. That being said, I was absolutely shocked to see he is still in practice. My Mom was a patient of his about 13 years ago and she was very loyal to the Docs she saw when she was alive. Dr. Simon appeared to me to be a good/Average Doctor until she became very ill with cancer. She had stage 4 epiglottic cancer which resulted in a feeding tube. None of this was Dr. Simons fault but what is his fault is his seemingly annoyed attitude towards my Mother after her Illness. As her disease progressed her pain and suffering also increased. My Mom was taking a lot of pain meds in the end. That was when an exchange between my Mother and Dr. Simon lead to him telling her that she “is going to have to just deal with the pain” and it was part of her illness. If you want a good Dr when healthy and a horrible Dr when sick he is the Doctor for you!

Dr. Simon is not only the doctor of doctors and healthcare professionals but a local favorite in the field as well. Down to earth, very knowledgeable, listens to his patients and tries to answer even the most unanswerable question, goes above and beyond his call. Call his office first that you’re coming. It worth the wait and does not hesitate to get consultants on board. Calls them personally. Whether he sees you in the office or hospital he takes time to check you, very thorough and dedicated to your care. He’s basically our family doctor and the doctor of over a dozen more healthcare professionals like me. Our go to guy! Recommended!
