21 years ago I severely lacerated my right hand, bilaterally, basically filleted it in half. It was a work accident and the artery and the ulner nerve were severed, along with some bone. Dr. Shealy spent over 4 hours putting it all back together. Due to his supreme skill I regained full strength in my grip and only have numbness and a substantial scar to remind me of that horrific agternoon. I recommend Dr. Shealy to anyone looking for hand surgeon, in my opinion he is the best.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
