Very detail-oriented and comprehensive about other parts of the body, not just the lungs. Excellent bedside manner and obviously caring and concerned and treats his patients with true concern. His volunteer work at the hyperbaric chamber for scuba divers is considerate and kind.

I am an older male with lung issues, who happens to tend to overthink things. I am so comfortable with him as my lung doctor, that I find I can just relax and trust him. He takes time to explain things I don't understand, has a genuine personal interest in my well-being, and is perfectly well informed. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

I was very impressed and pleased by Dr. Markovitz and the level of thoroughness and detail that he provided in my first appointment with him. He spent nearly an hour with me asking relevant questions about my health and asthma. He took detailed notes throughout the process, and he was actually listening to me. How refreshing! Dr. Markovitz was very thoughtful and spoke to me in a friendly and straightforward manner. I feel like I left the office with a course of action on how to manage my asthma after more than 30 years of struggles being asthmatic. I wish that I had gone to him years ago! His staff was very friendly, and the office is clean and professional. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Markovitz for the bends earlier this year. He was easy to talk to and provided clear explanations for my questions. Even when I followed up months later with an additional question, he was quick to respond and went the extra mile by providing me with his opinion and reading material. I highly recommend seeing him if possible. Excellent doctor.

My experience with Dr. Markovitz was wonderful. He is so knowledgeable, professional and goes above most doctors in his patient care. I had a CT scan at a local testing center at 11:00 this morning and received a personal call from Dr Markovitz just four hours later.

In this world of quick Dr. Visits and confusion, Dr. Markovitz is a wonderful tropical island. Warm, friendly and caring, he really puts in the time to understand your entire history in great detail. I can't recommend him enough. And what surprised me, even more,? was his follow up. One year later after my symptoms had subsided, he wanted to do a follow up to make sure all was as it should be. He is a rare wonderful caring man you'll love.

I have been seeing Dr. Markovitz for about 8 years. He is the most incredibly caring doctor. He spends much more time than I expect with me, going over what has been happening with my lung health. The other doctors I see spend much less time. Recently, he has been giving me samples of medications that might help my mild COPD and has been generous with the quantities and variety. I was impressed with his care after I had a collapsed lung and his ongoing care. He gets my highest recommendation.

DR. MARKOVITZ IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND AN AWESOME DOCTOR. HE LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED IN ORDER TO HELP HIS PATIENTS. I HAD BREATHING PROBLEMS AND HE HAD ME HAVE MANY LUNG SCANS TO DETERMINE WHY I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH BREATHING. I AM NOW WORKING OUT AND WALKING AT LEAST FIVE TIMES A WEEK. BETWEEN HIS GREAT KNOWLEDGE AND WONDERFUL ATTITUDE I HAVE LEARNED MUCH OF INFORMATION ABOUT PULMONOLOGY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM BECAUSE HE ALWAYS GOES THE EXTRA MILE.
