Dr. Wharton perform three surgeries on me and two of them was just to repair what he got wrong. I got staph from his surgeries twice... On the 2nd time I got staph from the surgery he gave up on me and didn't want to help anymore. I had to get CDC Drs involved to get the right treatment from him from the staph I got from his surgeries. I saw him recently thinking maybe this game have changed and he'd help me with my new injury, pain and problems. Nope.. he saw me for 5 mins and only examined me for 2 minutes and told me there's nothing he can do that I need to take depression medicine... he set me up an appointment for a month-and-a-half later I drive all the way from Abilene to Dallas and once I get there they told me he cancel my appointment and decided he doesn't want to be my doctor anymore... All without having the respect to call me and tell me before I drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back home.DO NOT GO TO THIS DR!

It takes him forever to diagnose ; he forgets everything I’ve told him many times! He will just take your money, and God knows he is not cheap. I strongly think that doctors who reach a certain age should just retire and not play with people’s health. I went to another doctor and in my first 2 visits he had me diagnosed correctly and ready for treatment. I am improving now

In what way is this considered patient care, when money comes into the picture before anything else!!! They wouldn't even schedule an appointment without cash upfront

I had cervical spine surgery in Arkansas and came to Dr. Wharton for post-operative care. He spent time with me explaining my x-rays and told me that I might need more surgery in the future if the bone spurs came back. He was very reassuring and said that he would help me with medications and checkups to see if the bone spurs came back.
