Hubby's Dr. suggested a surgeon for lump in stomach (we thought hernia) & after reading up on MGH Hernia program & on Dr. Velmahos, we knew we wanted to make appt. w/him. He has worked with many marathon victims. While we did have to wait over an hour, he was worth it. His bedside manner is excellent. He's knowledgeable and relays info in terms you can understand. Highly recommend this Dr.! Hubby has diastasis recti so no surgery needed yet. But when time comes, we'll see Dr. V again! Highly rec
