Dr. Tidey was kind and friendly. He supported our family through a long journey of infertility. He guided us through multiple stages of the process and helped us getting to a point where we were able to conceive. His team was very responsive and provided us with excellent care through this process.

Dr Tidey helped us have our son in 2019 and now our daughter in 2022. I have extremely poor egg quality and a clotting disorder and he used his expertise to make our dreams come true with ivf twice! He is one of the smartest Dr's I have ever met. He really is the best of the best. I recommend him to anyone with infertility. He listens and makes very educated intelligent respectful thought out responses and that is golden when you are unsure or crying because of past failures. I wanted someone kind but an expert and thats what I received with Dr Tidey. He is truly an empathetic caring Dr which is rare these days. After we had our son my husband said, "Were going back to Dr Tidey. He is tried and true and the best of the best." I trusted and chose him to help not just with our first child but our second child years later. The second ivf experience was just as pleasant if not better than the first experience since we knew what to expect and we knew Dr Tidey would take care of us.

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Geof Tidey with Shady Grove Fertility. He guided us through the entire treatment, was very patient with our questions and always there to help us. His experience speaks volume and I can honestly say its because of him I am was blessed with two kids now. I would highly recommended him if you are in Richmond (VA) area.

My Wife and I have had a wonderful experience with Shady grove fertility. Dr. Tidey was knowledgable and personable doctor who guided my wife and I through this emotional and difficult journey. He is incredibly responsive; our phone calls are always returned by the end of the day. The office staff is wonderful, from the nurses to the receptionists. Everyone is polite, professional, and so comforting. We are grateful to have SGF on our side. It was hard to leave them once we were pregnant and released to our OB. His staff is so sweet and compassionate.

Dr. Tidey is my favorite person on this planet currently. We decided together that IVF was our best option and he was calm, thoughtful, and incredibly educated and comforting the entire process. He took his time answering my (many) questions and was able to calm me down and talk me through the rough parts. He may be quiet but he is so honest and comforting. I worked with Dr. Tidey for 2 unsuccessful IUIs before moving to a successful IVF treatment. He was a great doctor, very thorough and precise with all procedures.

I highly recommend SGF and Dr. Tidey. SGF approaches medical appointments as a team so that you are not impacted by your doctors schedule. You may not see your specific doctor at all your appointments, but this is for the best as it keeps you on schedule with your treatments. The nurses were always very responsive to all questions and concerns via portal messages and phone calls. Dr. Tidey is extremely knowledgable and is ready to answer any questions you may have and frequently will back up his answers with scientific study results. He isn't one to go into lengthy details, so if you are someone who needs to know all the details be ready to ask those questions at your appointment.

All the MDs and staff at Shady Grove went above and beyond my expectations. From the start, they made you feel so welcome and that you weren't going into the scariest journey of your life alone. Throughout my time there, it was very refreshing to have a well thought out plan. I had a million questions throughout everything and the staff did such an amazing job at making you feel like you weren't a burden at all. They were very willing to work with appointments especially with my drive of two hours. One of the things that was most touching was the doctors just calling to ask how you're doing, not after a procedure or anything but just in general. It was one if not the most welcoming place I have been. They turned the scariest journey into the most rewarding and happiest experiences for my family. Now we are expecting and I owe it all to them. I adore Dr. Tidey . Don’t mistake his calm, quiet demeanor as anything other that pure focus. I have seen many RE’s and he is by far the most gentle, precise and will do all he can to help you succeed. He is an excellent surgeon and truly strives for excellence. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Tidey not only helped my husband and I become pregnant but has also had success with my best friend and sister-in-law. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. We are very grateful for Dr. Tidey, his staff and the practice.

Dr Tidey, his nurse Kim, and other doctors in the practice (on weekend on call) have all been wonderful to work with as I try to get pregnant. Dr Tidey is a very gentle soft spoken doctor and I trust him. Kim is very warm and helpful. I see them at least once a month in general over the past 6 months. Scheduling is also flexible and convenient.
