I highly recommend Dr. Shashoua and all of his staff! Everyone from the moment you walk in the front office is friendly, compassionate, patient, thorough, and so professional. They relieved all my anxieties and concerns about having the sling to correct over 30 years of incontinence. I have such freedom now! Can't thank you enough

He is the most caring doctor I have had since coming back to Austin, 3 years ago. He truly cares about his patience and it shows with his follow-ups. I had a hysterectomy with a mid-urethral sling. I developed a UTI after surgery (common). They got me in immediately. Also during my recovery, I developed a tear that required additional surgery. My gynecologist was out of town so Dr. Shashoua stepped in and performed the surgery! He goes above and beyond.

Shame and fear are big hurdles to overcome. At sixty-eight and very overweight the last thing I wanted to do was to explain to anyone that I was wetting my pants, daily. I thought it was God's punishment for being fat. I was wrong. I found a cure through the expert skill of Urogynecologist Dr. Shashoua. His team is highly skilled and compassionate. The Dr. is expert in the treatment of female urinary stress incontinence. Choose the best, choose Shashhoua. My quality of life is back!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Shashoua and his staff. I had extensive female surgery on a Monday and went home the next morning. I quit taking pain meds Wednesday morning and took only an occasional Tylenol.. I was taking short walks the next week and returned to my activities after 10 days with only mild discomfort. I started walking two miles on week two. Each week was a mild stone on improvement. Between week 3 and 4 I felt great with only mild discomfort around external stitches.

Beware! 100% five star ratings? Let's get real. Have you read the reviews? How many women would not only self-identify AND reveal their private and intimate and serious uro-gyno conditions, but over and over and over again articulate medical terms like "Da Vinci sacrocolpoperineopexy, hysterectomy, cystocele, rectocele, urinary Incontinence and mid-urethral sling (TVT)"? Seriously?!!! This guy gave me the serious creeps after an awful exam/encounter and I am stumped by these reviews. Fraud?

Dr Shashoua and his staff are absolutely phenomenal! The entire staff was very professional, responsible, and willing to listen to my concerns. I couldn't be happier with my experience! Kristen was so sweet and thourogh and although Dr Shashoua wasn't in the office the day of my appointment he called almost immediately after to introduce himself and ask if I had any questions or concerns. I feel like I am in such good hands and am very confident in the results I will achieve after my surgery!

I would defiantly recommend Dr. Shashoua to my family and friends. The staff is excellent and all the appointments went smoothly. I also appreciate the follow up after the surgery.

I could not have asked for better treatment. Dr. Shashoua and his nurse practitioner, Kristin, were amazing in every way. They were sincerely concerned and thorough in wanting to find the best treatment plan possible designed for me. Each follow up visit gave me reassurance that everything was healing appropriately. Because of how concise they were in wanting to rule everything out, a CT scan was done to actually find a kidney stone that I was not aware was there. Definitely would recommend!
