The office staff is wonderful, respectful and kind. Dr. Pierson is well known and respected in his field. The nursing staff has been very helpful every time I call with questions. We feel very comfortable with the decisions being made for the health history we are dealing with. In the past we had some awful medical service from other (local) institutions, now we fell comfortable with the decision to come to Overland Park Hospital and doctors.

This physician’s beside manner, thoroughness, professionalism is like none I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen clinicians/physicians in various different specialities and Ive yet to encounter any who can match him. I was referred to him 9 years ago because of a a medication that triggered some heart problems. He was proactive and probably saved my life. I make it a point to keep my annual appointments with him..I don’t miss them. He’s a consummate professional in every since of the word. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Pierson!

It was my first virtual visit with a Doctor. Dr. Pierson always seems to have my health as a first priority and I feel confident I am going to be ok. Although I would like to follow up sooner than six months for an EKG to ensure everything is ok.

He listens and then communicates in terms that I can understand - don't always get that from a health care provider

Dr. Pierson has been my doctor for several years. I had a recent check up in the office, and in spite of the challenges the coronavirus is causing medical and office staff, my interaction with every staff member was exceptional! From checking in to checking out each person was friendly and personable, including Dr. Pierson’s nurse Hannah! Doctor Pierson is a great listener and takes time with his patients. He has a kind, patient manner and will knowledgeably address questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Pierson and Midwest Heart & Vascular Specialists!
