My wife and I visited Mid-Peninsula Ophthalmology Medical Group office for an eye exam on October 7, 2016. On 10/15 I developed first symptoms of viral and bacterial conjunctivitis ("red eye"). My wife developed similar symptoms next day. Viral conjunctivitis incubation period is between 2 and 14 days. I was diagnosed with the disease on 10/19 and my wife was diagnosed with same malady on 10/23 (she was out of town). Viral conjunctivitis is a painful and long lasting condition. Beware!
