This content was provided by Dr. Markakis "Dr. Markakis is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with extensive clinical, surgical, and research experience in the diagnosis and treatment of: corneal/ocular surface (dry eye, conjunctivitis) disease; external eye (lid/lash/skin) disease; cataract; glaucoma; uveitis (ocular inflammation); ocular trauma; diabetic eye disease; and refractive error (myopia/hyperopia/astigmatism/presbyopia). He has performed and presented over 15 years of ophthalmology research at national and international meetings, and has given informational talks to the general public, civic organizations, optometrists, and primary care practitioners. Dr. Markakis has also been actively involved in teaching residents and medical students, and is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University Schook of Medicine. A native Clevelander, Dr. Markakis graduated from Ruffing Montessori, and University School, and maintains close ties to the both east and west side communities."

Dr. Markakis gave the most through exam that I've ever had in 48 years of wearing glasses.. After having difficulty getting clear vision for both near and far prescription... he was able to solve the mystery of my eye needs and I am now seeing more clearly than I have in many years.
