I waited for my appointment with Dr. Kelly for months. He had all of my paper work already because his office staff refused to even set the appointment until they had all documentation and blood work. The doctor walks into the room and immediately announces that he will refuse to see me because he only treats people who have already been diagnosed with a specific autoimmune disease. He also informed me that all old ladies have an autoimmune disease. This is blatantly untrue. I was dumbfounded at this point and decided the jerk was going to at least answer some of my questions. Though, he did, he showed that he was rather ignorant of some of the autoimmune diseases. He told me there was no such thing as a muscle autoimmune disease which is untrue. He also is quite ignorant of basic nutrition. He kept insisting that only grains are carbohydrates, not fruits and vegetables. I’m actually laughing out loud at this point and see no reason to stay any longer.

His office staff is horrendous and they argue amongst themselves. His infusion nurse Misty is worthless and NEVER returns calls. His telephone receptionist is rude. I’ve found that the whole office is dismissive of anything other than what’s for lunch. I strongly suggest that you find another rheumatologist!

I waited 8 months to see this doctor in hopes he could help with a diagnosis as to why I have muscle weakness and unexplained pain. I waited an hour past my appointment time in his office. It took him all of five minutes to tell me there’s no reason for me to be there and quickly ushered me out. Another devastating appointment with doctors that don’t care to help people.

Love Dr Kelly and his staff. Have been going to him for 17 years. When I first got diagnosed with RA - he wasn't the first doctor I saw. Others had told me I didn't have RA and I must have hit myself or that it was too early to treat and come back when it was worse. Dr. Kelly's treatment plan was to treat the disease so that it wouldn't get worse or at least try to slow down the progression of the disease.

First off the office is full of staff who aside from one woman seemed really upset to simply be there, they disregard most patients and will talk amongst themselves or on the phone right in front of you while ignoring you like it was a tv show about terrible service Kelly himself was supposed to be an expert but is very dismissive borderline irresponsible, he acted as though I was bothering him simply by being there, he missed the fact that I had lupus for 2 years until I went to someone else.

I personally am not a patient but my daughter went to see him as part of her journey to find out what is happening to her body. She was diagnosed with MS and her other providers are looking for possible other issues. He treated her as if she should not be there and made her feel as if he wasn't listening. I am in the medical profession and providers such as these should not be providing medical care to anyone. Quality of care is our future and this provider does not belong in this profession

He does not listen to you or work with you. Went to him with RA diagnosis and he told me I did not have it. Eventually changed doctors and was told once again I have RA so back to square one. Completely useless doctor.
