Dr. George Edwards, Jr reviewed my history, performed a thorough exam and provided me with next steps which included options and the pros and cons to each of those choices. Ultimately allowing me to control the narrative and answered every question I had about the next steps I chose and made me feel confident that I am most definitely in the best hands to finally be pain free!

Broke my hand this weekend Kayaking. George Edwards worked me into the schedule and did an excellent job. All the staff are equally friendly and positive, they even had a large size pen for me to use since I could not grasp a normal pen. It is the place to go for any hand/shoulder injuries.

Excellent atmosphere. Care about patients. I’ve had 6 fingers and thumbs operated on and all work better than before and I can sleep at night without pain.

Worst doctor apt of my life. Complete waste of time. He fumbled around on his iPhone a lot and basically gave me the "expert" medical advice not to bend my elbow anymore. How do you drive, brush your teeth, use a fork, etc. I was in pain and he sluffed it off as a common problem he too has experienced. The medical field has passed him by. Stay away

Dr. Edwards did carpel tunnel releases on both of my hands some years ago and a trigger thumb release more recently. He is very knowledgeable and an exellent surgeon. All of those areas are some years later completely pain free and functional. In each instance he began treatment conservatively with braces and a cortisone shot progressing to surgery as appropriate. He is also a heck of a nice person. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic hand care.

First time at Raleigh Hand and with Dr. Edwards, great bed side manner. Very informative and helpful for me to understand exactly what the issue is. I had to get two shots, one in the elbow and one in my hand. I told him that I did not like shots and he was very good and trying to relax the patient. I would recommend to anyone that needs a hand / arm doctor

Dr Edwards did a masterful job as a surgeon on my hand regarding a very serious. infection called Flexor Tenosynovitis . He is the only hand specialist I will use in the future.
