At the suggestion of my internist and a spine specialist, I saw Dr. Christolias in February for relief of what has been a very painful and lingering bout of sciatica in my right lumbar area, affecting upper and lower leg. The injection I received from him provided relief within 24 hours. The physical therapy he suggested has also relieved a great deal of pain in my lower back. Most importantly, Dr. Christolias is a superb diagnostician : he examined my MRI carefully, noted the medical issues with my back, and explained how he would treat them. His manner was kind, professional, and unrushed. I recommend him unreservedly.

This Dr was late to both appointments & never apologized for making me wait over 40 min each time. I didn’t think he even listened to what I was saying. Even though I had Xray with me from a chiropractor visits, he did not look & rush to leave the room & tell me to do more Xrays & MRI. He charged me a full visit the 2nd time to just read me the MRI result written by the radiologist at the hospital, which I already had a copy. He said he doesn't see anything wrong & doesn't understand why I have pain but suggested to do surgery to explore. this was ridiculous; I asked for PT prescription & he was just so pushy to make sure book me another appointment in 3 weeks. he couldn’t understand what trigger the pain; and just charge $$ and push for more office visits. very arrogant, rude, not caring and respect for patient time and $ and health problem. in both visits, he never asked me if I have any questions for him & he just left the room & send a nurse to push to book the next appointment.

Dr. C saw me foe about 30 minutes and requested that I get an MRI with contrast and without for a pain in my back. To make a long story short his actions probably saved my life and contributed to my pain improving. I no longer have any pain and the tumor that the MRI showed has shrunk considerable. I had seen several different Doctors for the pain in my back but Dr. C was the one who finally found the problem. I am very thankful that my GP recommended I see him.

After many years of lower back pain, I finally found Dr. Christolias. He is an excellent diagnostician and was very easy to talk to as he explained the different steps WE would take to try to solve my problem. In spite of his very busy practice, he answered all my questions and did not rush me. I recommend him without reservations.
