Misdiagnosis and mistreatment of sciatic pain
I visited Dr. Arcos with sciatic pain in my left leg that had been on-going for several months and was not going away with treatments including chiropractic, physio, acupuncture etc. He gave me great confidence that a spinal injection would remove the pain and he was the best in his field, taught other doctors how to do this, etc. He was very friendly but spent most of our consultation talking about politics and spent only 5 minutes on my diagnosis. I went ahead with the injection - which i was paying for out of pocket as i didn't have health insurance. The consultation and injection cost me about $1,500 and there was absolutely NO RELIEF of the pain. I tried numerous times to contact Dr Arcos after the injection to discuss what went wrong and what else could be done, and he never returned my calls. He displayed a complete lack of integrity and care for this patient, and did not stand by the treatment he provided. I feel like i was completely ripped off and sold a bill of goods!!

Surviving a nearly fatal car accident, I was left with sever pain from terrible cervical and lumbar spinal issues. Dr Arcos gave me a hands on exam;which no other pain doc did, and he was able to pin point areas that hurt just by reviewing my MRI’s. He strategized a plan and listened to my needs to regain my freedom as an athlete and single mother of a young boy, who like me has a lot of energy and loves to play! Sadly he moved away, forcing me to see another doctor who after one set of injections became angered that his magical injection didn’t work and told me to go ask an Ortho for stronger pain meds. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am going to drive across the state to see dr Arcos, because I have faith that he can elevate my pain. I highly recommend Arcos. After one injection, he reduced pain 60% after other doctors failed me for a whole year.

Hey Doc I was very sad when I was told that you were no longer there, after 3 years and your treatments that were working, then just as we were on a vital part of my current problem in the right rib area. I have an appointment on 7/15/20 with De Raso but I am not happy with basically starting over! Let me know when you have landed somewhere. Thanks James Scott

I had a pain management person before I saw Dr Arcos that was no where near as efficient as Dr. Arcos. I'm sorry You had to leave. I never got my person to person follow up You after my procedure . My appointment was scheduled for 7/13/20. They call me twice one in one day to tell to find another Doctor. When ever You relocate , please inform me where You are. I was like to continue treatment under Your care. It was a pleasure having You as my Doctor

I came to the practice to see a chiropractor for back pain. After an x-ray reveal compressed disc with moderate scoliosis, I was referred to Dr. Arcos. He recommended a procedure that would stop the pain. We went through the first 2 of 3 procedures. When I called to schedule the 3rd procedure I was told only and simply that Dr Arcos was taking time off and had personal issues he needed to deal with. I called back a couple of weeks later to be told Dr Arcos was no longer with the practice. I'm hopeful he will be back in a local office soon. The practice did quickly give me the name of a Dr they are referring Dr Arcos patients to. I will wait to see if Dr Arcos returns to practice soon. How can you let us know you're back Dr Arcos? FYI - I left my email as part of this post.

Very displeased with overall outcome. Dr. Arcos originally presents as very knowing and involved in concise treatment plan. However, was schedule for an Epidural Injection in May that was cancelled within days of scheduled appointment due to Dr. having to go out of town. Epidural was re-scheduled for June 18th, as that was earliest date available. Now pushing 60 days with significant lower back pain and inability to move. Day of the procedure, Dr. Arcos office calls at 10:30 and states that he is once again unavailable. Extremely unprofessional behavior. Now have to start entire process again with a new provider. Recommend avoiding this provider as he has proven to be aloof and unreliable.
