He replaced my left hip in Feb. 2015. Two weeks later it popped out for no reason. I had a second surgery and it is still in place but my left thigh has hurt when I walk for at least 1.5 years. I have seen him twice since the hurt started and have had one X-ray which shows nothing. Tompkins was very defensive and just kept saying "It's not your hip"repeatedly. When I asked who I should get help from he shrugged and said "a physical therapist or a sports medicine guy". No concern, no responsibility. My left thigh still hurts when I walk. Recently, I had a bone scan which showed inflamation near my left femur. Tompkins refused to be of any help. Now he has disappeared.

Dr. Tompkins has given me back my life! The arthritic joints in my hip, shoulder and knees literally had me crawling up the stairs to my home. I couldn't walk more than a few feet. Thanks to Dr. Tompkins, I have retired my wheelchair, walker and cane. I was able to dance at my granddaughter's recent wedding! I am so fortunate and grateful to have found him to perform my 3 extensive surgeries. His gentle, caring manner and attention to every detail made my experience successful. THANK YOU, Dr. T!

From when I first met him I knew that if I was going to have replacement surgery, he was the doctor that I was going to use. And I had both a knee and hip replaced. The results have been very good and I would highly recommend him.

Helpful, friendly, patient, informative. I'm 91 years old. Had my operation one month ago today and can walk comfortably with a cane, even without a cane. The condition of my hip going in was severe and i was told that there would be a certain amount of reconstructive surgery. Jow fortunate I was to have found Geoffrey Tompkins.
