Learn about Dr. Seidel

Care Philosophy

My focus is to obtain a thorough history, perform a comprehensive physical examination and critically review all prior diagnostic testing to verify that no diagnosable medical condition has been missed. My approach is to diagnose and treat people for their specific problem with appropriate medications, therapy, and other interventions. I use electrodiagnostic medicine as an extension of the evaluation process to establish causation of symptoms, treatment approaches, and facilitate the patient care decisions

Dr. Seidel is thorough and will not stop until he has done his best. He treats you as though you are one of his family members. He is genuine and truly cares about your health. His determination to heal is rare and he stops at nothing to accomplish his goal. Kaitlyn is an angel who assists and is there for you with any questions or concerns. She is a true gem constantly helping Dr. to fulfill a positive end result. I cannot express enough my recommendation for this Team.
Michigan |
Dr. Seidel met me after a few minutes of an evaluation from an intern. When Dr. Seidel arrived, he quickly evaluated my lower back pain. Then he suggest a get well plan which included medication and shots. When I questioned the medicine and shots (I've had that recommendation before, and was looking for root cause - not masking the symptoms), Dr. Seidel became rude & demeaning. He said something like, "You are not listening to me. I've listened you, its your turn to listen to me."

I found Dr. Seidel to be straightforward and honest. Thorough in his evaluations and persistent in his search to get to the root of your medical issues and participate in a resolution. I found him to be a warm and caring physician. The Spine Center staff, are also warm and caring...I felt a general sense of well-being in this environment. Thanks to all.
in Utica, MI |
Dr. Seidel never calls or sends a letter regarding MRI's. No medical plan of treatment plan. No idea what I'm supposed to do except find another PM&R who's engaged in patient care and outcomes. Also disheartening to see that he is teaching. What exactly is he teaching?! Very poor bedside manner.
