Excellent doctor. Wait time was a little long but worth it. No other dr wold see me because of medical insurance. He diagnosed my problem and came to decision reguarding surgery. My knee dislocates and causes me to fall.. explained everything perfectly and staff was great!
Galt, CA |
Busy office but great doctor.. spent time going over the problem and reviewed X-rays with me.. I would highly recommend him To others if you want direct and to the point answers.. worth the wait!

MY NAME IS JOSE ESPARZA, A FORMER PATIENT OF DR. WISNER...AFTER YEARS OF SEEING MANY OTHER DOCTORS,NOT ONE OF THEM GAVE ME THE HELP I NEEDED TO DEAL WITH MY PAIN.....THEY ALL KEPT ME DRUGGED UP ON PAIN KILLERS WHICH I STOP TAKING BECAUSE THEY WERE HURTING ME. BOTH OF MY KNEES WERE DETERIORATING AND I NEEDED THEM DONE BUT ALL I HEARD WAS ,YOU ARE TO FAT,TO HEAVY TO HAVE THEM REPLACED. DR. WISNER REPLACED BOTH MY KNEES AND I TOTALLY SUPPORT HIM. HE OPERATED ON ME AND FIXED WHAT OTHERS WOULD NOT DO
in Sacramento, CA |
4 hr wait time. Called my provider group to ask for help. In the exam room Dr. shouted out orders to the three staffers in the room with us. No discussion about recover time, type and location of the fracture, what to expect as far as healing time. He order crutches, walker, PT, blood work with out discussion. Then he threatened that if I ever complain about him again that he would not see me again or if I needed surgery he would not perform. All he wanted to hear from me was "thank you"
Davis, CA |
Let us contrast the words "can't perform a surgery" with "won't perform the surgery", because ours was simply a case of a man insecure with his subpar skills as a surgeon and who is unwilling to assist a patient in dire need. Please don't go here unless it is your last hope of seeing a health professional, because everything about this place is unprofessional, money-driven and not patient centered. Our time is precious, so make good decisions for your own health needs, even if physicians "can't"

Excellent Dr.. tells you like it is and not drug pusher
Galt, CA |
I see all the negative comments about this dr and i have to say that my appt was not like that.. he was very friendly and office staff was great... he explained why he does X-rays as well as orders mri and i was happy that he was not in a hurry to do surgery on me but to try my options first. Every one wants to spend long periods of time in line to get the best new product or wait in a line for three hours st Disney land vs take care of their health... I don't agree with that.

The office has a bit of a wait but Dr Wisner is well worth it. The office ladies are super nice. The X Ray tech is great working with you. The best is Wisner is very skilled and takes really great care of you during surgery!
in lodi, ca |
Previous Ligament surgery in my knee Ripped away from anchor. He calls me a "Big Baby" then says I'm only there to get meds because he thinks I'm an addict. I'm looking for a better Orthopedic Surgeon! If he can't understand the PAIN I'm in, how I'm trying to get set up for a new surgery at the beginning of next spring, so I don't interrupt my College attendance, he's useless. If you have private insurance go elsewhere. This guy is a joke!
in Stockton, CA |
He found my back issue due to sciatica problems.

Dr wisner does not have a very good bedside manor! but he is an excellent dr. The reason there is such a long wait is because he is the only Orthopedic Surgeon in town that takes Medi- Cal, Thanks Obama!!!! So if you want a short wait & a dr. that will sit and talk to you for 30 min.(good luck, every dr. only has 10 min per patient) (Thanks Obama!!!!) then find someone else! As for me I can put up with his smart mouth & the long wait as long as he fixes me right,& he is one of the best!
in Lodi, CA |
Waited for over 2 hours and still wasn't seen. The lady next to me had an appt scheduled for an hour before mine and she wasn't even seen yet. I left before I ever got called and rescheduled elsewhere. This office is a joke. There were 18 people in the waiting room and more waiting outside. Totally overbooked and crazy. Staff lady at the counter was rude.

Dr Gary is the best Orthopedic Dr I had seen so far. I visit 3-4 different dr's and none of them find out what my condition was. Is true you do wait a very long time before you get to see him but is worth it. the most I wait to see him was 3 hrs, as today I feel great. Many people post their negative comments about him but in my opinion he is the best dr. in town.
Stockton, CA |
Do not go to this Dr.!! He takes xrays for every visit. He yells and does not listen to patient. Dr visits are every 2 weeks and wait time is 2-3 hours. He is milking the system by having extra xrays and over booking patients.
Lodi, CA |
3 hour wait time for schedule appt., others in office said is always that way. Xray for every appt., Dr. requires an appt. every two weeks so you will have an xray every two weeks. Dr will repeat xrays. When ask for xrays Dr. office refuses to give them to you. Dr will not listen to your concerns. Have heard Dr. yell at patients.
