prior to seeing Dr. Stewart, my foot/ankle deformity caused a great deal of pain for over 6 years. Dr. Stewart went over my options, was extremely compassionate, understanding and very thorough. We made a plan that began with pre surgery physical therapy, then surgery, now post op PT. 3 weeks ago I walked pain free for the first time in over 6 years!! My only question is why did it take me so long to find Dr. Stewart!? Best team EVER!! Thank you very much and God Bless you Dr. Stewart!!

After medical school and residency, I completed a fellowship, an extra year of specialized training, in foot and ankle surgery.   I am well trained in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery, but the specialized training allows me to delve into complex issues of the foot and ankle.  I am involved in the training of medical students and residents, and I participate in a wide range of research activities in cutting edge orthopaedic surgical treatments and techniques.

Dr. Stewart says...

I believe it is important to always continue training to stay current with new procedures.  I attend conferences sponsored by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and accredited courses for Continuing Medical Education.   I also continue to remain well verse in the most recent orthopaedic literature to be aware of any state of the art advances in our field.
