After years of deteriorating neck and back issues, I was referred to Dr. Schmidt. He ordered the diagnostics and spent the time to go over them with his recommendations. I researched options and decided to have him do both neck and back surgery to relieve my symptoms. The results have been excellent. His surgery skills are top notch. His office and staff have been easy to work with and responsive. I recommend Dr. Schmidt without reservation.

Saved my Life! Completed a rare surgery of my thoracic spine that had a disc compressing my spinal cord. No pain and full recovery in my future. He answered all my questions and made my wife and I feel confident. Thank you Dr Schmidt!

I went to Dr. Schmidt in a ton of pain. He ordered an MRI and told me they would call with the results. I had to call them. They would not give any information over the phone and told me I had to have a follow up appt. I had to wait for this appt.. When I went to this appointment he was very dismissive of me because I guess the MRI didn't show enough of a problem. When I asked if this type of problem usually gets worse over time he actually said, "Well, I don't have a crystal ball".

He has horrible follow-up procedures. Called 3x before he called me back. Each time I stated it was an emergency, he did nothing.

I don't even know what I could say that is positive. My appointment with this doctor was a waste of time and money. I have suffered from back pain due to the curve of my spine and I was told that "you have to live with it, there is really nothing we can do". What kind of a doctor says that? I had to wait over 30 days for this appointment, only to be dismissed with him having spent less than 10 minutes with me. Needless to say, I will not be returning, nor would I recommend him.

Dr. Schmidt has now had to open me up two times, first was putting me back together after being hit by a car while I was stopped on a motorcycle. The initial surgery entailed removing broken bone and re-positioning what was left no issues! The second time I managed to break hardware easily visible with x-ray. When he got in there he found the remaining hardware was in much worse condition than the picture showed. I managed to loosen all the hardware. Was going to break I trust him to work on me.
