arrogant doctor
My child had Food Challange appt with him and I had a couple important questions to ask beforehand. Even before I asked, he literally said he has no time for any question as he is too busy at the time and we should consider today as a surgery day. I think we can still ask questions before surgery but not with him. He cut a whole nut in 4 pieces and left the room and never came back or never heard back from him until we finished the food challange. The office staff kicked us out from the room after my child ingested food and told us to walk around the building for 90 minutes or so and comeback if anything happens. Isn't Food Challange supposed to be taken serious as if it was a surgery like he said?

Pien always has a timer and one foot out the door before I can ask a question. His bedside manners are appalling and he is simply rude. He did not test for other likely associated allergies and therefore put my child in danger! It is very clear he does not care for the well-being of kids and does the minimum. I know other families that have had similar experiences and have needed to change to another specialist. Do not rely on him to care for your child.

I called to make an appointment. I waited on hold for half an hour of horribly garbled classical music and when I was finally connected, the woman on the other end couldn't hear me and hung up. That's some service, huh?

Although he appeared competent, I found Dr. Pien to be arrogant and condescending. There are plenty of good doctors who treat their patients with respect. I would not recommend him to friends or family.

Dr. Pien was a very polite and professional doctor. He took a long time asking me my history and getting to know my information before doing allergy testing. When my tests came back negative, he gave me his honest opinion on what my next steps should be and gave me some options to consider. Overall very helpful and polite doctor. Highly recommend.

At our first visit he saw us promptly, we didn't even have time to sit down after registering. One time we were late (our fault) and he still saw us, but we had to wait a bit as there were also other patients who had appointments. Now I know why patients are always asked to arrive on time!
