About Me

I try to treat all hand surgery conditions non-surgically.  If that fails, I use the most up to date minimally invasive techniques so my patients can recover quicker and return to work and activities.
I try to treat my patients the same way I treat my family members. Compassionate, caring and competent.

Dr. Pess is one of the worlds leading experts in treating Dupuytren's Contracture. There is no cure for Dupuytren's so treatments are required for me every 1-2 years. I have been see to Dr. Pess 4 times. I've had both Needle Fasciotomy & XiaFlex. I tried one other Dr. more local to me but Dr. Pess is worth the 1.5 hr drive. He will treat your Dupuytren's aggressively if needed and is very confident. He is in great demand and very busy. Only go to the best surgeon especially for hands.

Dr. Pess was very friendly and kind. He took the time to listen to my problems and answered all my questions. He was able to figure out what was wrong with me even though my previous doctor missed the diagnosis. His surgical skill was exceptional and I recovered very quickly from my surgery with no problems. I recommend him.
