Dr. McCarthy tries his best to help you and doesn't give up. Besides manner is wonderful and that counts for a lot when you are suffering constantly with pain. He actually listens to you when you say new problems have arisen instead of just brushing you off.
I don't see Dr McCarthy until the 11th for my first round of facet injections. But Cathy has been taking care of me getting everything set up. And she is doing suparts injections in my knee. The receptionist is a Dall baby and Cathy will bend over backwords to help you. I highly recomend bluefield orthopedics!!!!!

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. McCarthy's Care Philosophy

As a surgeon I believe that every patient is equally important and deserving of the best care I can provide. I also believe that surgery is not necessarily the best solution for every problem and that all alternatives should be investigated and discussed with the patient. The patients need to have things explained in a way that they can understand so they can make an informed decision. Bedside manner is every bit as important as high quality care and you will not find yourself waiting for hours in the offie to be seen.
