I suffered b/c he refused to have anything to do with his past case, me, when I discovered that he had not provided the test result according to medical records, even though testing indicated serious medical condition requiring immediate treatment, so his self-absorbed, curt, cold, irresponsible...more

Dr.Mathern did surgery on our then 8 year old daughter back in 2008. Fast forward 9 years, our daughter has not had a single seizure since the surgery. She has not taken any seizure medication in 8 years. Today, she is 17, on the water polo and swim team, and has her drivers license. All those...more

I recall that he never properly gave the diagnosis meeting so my child suffered for a long time then when asked about it he refused to discuss blaming institutional information and he talked about wanting to charge money for that meeting which he charged money for.

Saved my daughter's life. She had over 600 seizures in span of three years, had surgery with Dr Mathern, and hasn't had a seizure in 5 years. We are forever grateful to this man.
