Find Another Pediatrician
We suffered for almost 3 years feeling unheard and without answers. Needless to say, we found a pediatrician that listens to us and are finally learning how to deal with our son’s asthma. For years Dr. Kramer would blow off my sons asthma as “upper respiratory infections” and that “kids get 12-14” colds a year. My son would, with his condition, stay 2-3 weeks coughing up a lung. We tried every home remedy to no avail and then we would always end up in urgent care or an emergency room after seeing Kramer because we never saw improvement with our sons sicknesses. He also seems annoyed when you talk to him, doesn’t even seem to like children because he shushes them, and gets bothered by the mere interest of a child touching his “tools.” He would make us feel stupid and would roll his eyes at things we would tell him. His office staff has zero care or empathy for sick kids. Recently, one of the ladies rolled her eyes when my son was hesitant to do a treatment WHILE having an asthma attack.

My husband and I picked Dr. Kramer for our son as his pediatrician when he was born, but we are not happy and will be looking for another provider. The wait times are always at least an hour and he will spend no more than 3-5 minutes with us. He is not open for discussion and dismisses anything we have to say regarding any issue we have encountered with our son and his health. Thank God our son is healthy, and any issues have been minimal, but God forbid there were worse issues, we don’t feel that this doctor would provide good care. He’s very robotic, rude with the kids, arrogant and seems to be burnt out. It appears that he doesn’t enjoy what he does anymore.

I don't understand what is the fuss around Dr Kramer. I never post any reviews but it has been so bad that I felt the need to do it. Every time we go, we have to wait at least 1 hour before he sees us. (once we waited 2 hours !!). When he finally comes, he takes 2 mins for the examination, hardly listens to what we got to say and is absolutely not open for discussion. I don't feel free to talk and when I did it dismissed my concerns on a very arrogant way. My son has recurrent cough, every time he has sent us home with antibiotics, which is the easy way. Not once he has tried to identify the cause of these recurrent coughs which would be the logical path. To be honest, it has been the worst experience I ever had with a pediatrician and we will not go back.

Dr. Kramer has been our pediatrician for 16 years now. He is amazing! He is responsive, caring, and has always guided us in the right direction with what is best for our children in mind. I have never thought of changing doctors and both my kids respect and trust him as their doctor.

He is amazing! We changed pediatricians and Dr. Kramer caught immediately that the previous office forgot to give my children immunizations. He listens and is thoughtful and respectful. He gives us his full attention and doesn't brush off concerns. His office staff is friendly and I have never waited longer than 30 minutes for an appointment. We are so satisfied with Dr. Kramer and wish we went to him sooner.

We love Dr. Kramer and Dr. Kimsey! They are patient and knowledgeable. I go there for the doctors, not the environment... I do not like the office because there are no windows and the rooms are tiny. I feel like I am in a dungeon in there. However, it is clean. I have a teenager and a little one. The office is definitely set up for little children. I wish is was a bit more older child friendly. I also wish there was a sick and a healthy kid waiting room, but the office is too small for that..

What’s the big fuss about this Doctor? I don’t know. He is as caring as a lawyer =/, very distant and robotic with children.. The staff is horrendous. Any request you may have the answer is NO and also they didn’t know what my baby was doing there by the 2nd appointment we had. I had to “remind them” that is was vaccines and check up =O. They refused to measure him. Moving on to another pediatrician, and if you want records you have to pay a fee and the lady at front desk don’t know what it is.

Kramer is rude, arrogant, and a bad pediatrician. Spends 3-5 minutes with a baby after waiting for him for 50-60 minutes. Bye bye, Kramer.

Dr Kramer is Great, he is caring, patient, and calm. His staff complete opposite I would gladly go back to Dr Kramer if you had new staff. Specially the office manger she is rude, inpatient, and loud. Blames everyone else and make you feel like a bad parent. If you are looking for great complete package this is not the place Im sorry Dr Kramer we really did like you and so did our baby.

He's excellent. If you have a sick child, getting in to see Dr. Kramer same day is no problem. Where making appointments is difficult is when you make a yearly exam. You have to book it almost 2 months in advance because there is limited availability. When we visit we never feel rushed and Dr. Kramer takes his time with us and the kids and answers any questions or concerns we may have.

My children were seeing Dr. Kramer while we lived in Coconut Grove. We moved away 2 years ago. I have not found a doctor who's advice and opinions that I value as much as I did with Dr. Kramer. He is extremely patient with children and listened throughly to any concerns we had. He truly wants the best for our children.
