I had a fractured T12 vertebrae and required a Spinal fusion of my T11, T12 and L1. My legs were numb, I was in a lot of pain and was in danger of paralysis if I didn’t have my injury repaired. I consulted with several surgeons before choosing Dr. Flangas. The nurses who work with him at the hospital have high respect for him and the work he performs. He is extremely professional and prepared when you consult with him, he does not rush you at all. I went home 3 days after surgery. My recovery was very smooth and I was able to return to work after 6 weeks. It took about 8 months for me to regain my full strength. A year after surgery, I am back to normal activity and have no pain at all. Dr. Flanges is truly a brilliant surgeon and a caring doctor. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Flangus turned my life around!!! I was suffering from a herniated disc L3/L4 and was in so much pain that I was not able to function as normal. After the surgery I had instant relief from the pain. Dr. Flangas is excellent and what he does and very honest with his patients. He also sets realistic expectations of the outcome of the surgery. Dr. Flangas Staff was also amazing. They treated me like family and I cannot say enough about them. They all were patient and understanding of my needs. It takes a Great team to put together a successful office and I believe they have done it and deserve 5 Gold Stars. Thanks everyone.

Long overdue review. I saw Dr Flangas in March 2018 about having a 6mm x 6mm tumor removed from my pituitary gland which was causing a disease called Cushings Disease. His staff is absolutely amazing! When I meet Dr Flangas I was immediately put to ease. He’s calming nature and thorough explanation of the surgery I knew I was in great hands. May 2018 had a completely successful surgery. I’m so glad I found Dr Flangas. He is the best, only one I’d trust for this surgery and gave me my life back.

Dr Flangas performed surgery on a ruptured disc I had at L5/S1 to remove the ruptured portion of a disc. I felt better nearly immediately. I received excellent care from this surgeon and would highly recommended him to anyone with a back injury.

Please do not go to this Doctor for any kind of back surgery. I had back surgery with him, and if I were able to turn back time I would...it was the worst decision of my life! I am 150% worse now then I was before my procedure. Not only did he botch my surgery, his bedside manner was/is dismissive when things do not go his way.

Dr. Flangas is the best doctor I have ever had. From the beginning, he was informative and sensitive from my first visit, and thru my entire surgery. Dr. Flangas sat with me and explained every process, MRI overview, risks, post care and just about everything in between. Dr. Flangas Is very easy to understand and I felt very comfortable about putting my ACDF Surgery in his hands. Highly recommend him for any Neurosurgery required.
