I was sent to ETMC hospital by my primary care doctor for throwing up blood. I was told to do the cleansing procedure and I would have a endoscopy in the morning. No food or water after midnight. I waited, suffering, for the whole day until around 4:00 pm. I am on the table when this guy came and asked If I was ok and ready to go. I said I was fine except for waiting all day with no water of food. Boyd said "Well I can leave and make you wait longer if you want." Told my wife that I was dying.

My dad saw Dr. Boyd for his colonoscopy in 2013. Dr. Boyd told him that everything looked perfectly fine. Two years later, my dad was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer and had 12 polyps removed. The average time it takes for polyps to turn cancerous is about 10 years. There is no excuse for Dr. Boyd missing this on my dads examination. I don't know Dr. Boyd personally, but I would not take the gamble of seeing him for any healthcare reason. There are mistakes and then there is carelessness

Dr. Boyd performed a colonoscopy on me this past week. I didn't have scheduling or wait issues, but I'll tell you one thing, for a good doctor these days, I'll wait half a day if I have to. I've had doctors who hurry and rush you through. Forget that. I'd rather wait and know that when this doctor gets to me I'm going to be cared for in a good way. Maybe the "young" folks who can't wait should go to their safe zone and wait there. Great doctor, great service. Nothing but good to say.

I have used Dr Boyd since 2003 for my colonoscopy, his has been great, but this time getting ready for my procedure, I received my prep prescription, I got it filled then I had some questions about it, they said that they didn't use that prep and I should go to pharmacy and ask for the one they use without prescription..... that's not how that works...I cancelled my procedure due to no prep.. Sad cause I really liked Dr Boyd and staff, I guess they have changed

Almost 2 hour wait to see the doctor. He suggested I find a new doctor when I complained even though I scheduled my appointment months in advance. Rude and said that the problem with young people such as myself is that they think things have to be fair. Wasted my time and money, extremely unprofessional and really got in my face when I confronted him for the first time. I was emotionally overwhelmed and drained, similar to a road rage situation, but I was nothing but courteous in response.
