Arthroscopic Shoulder Repair; Impingement & Frayed Ligaments Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Ackerman is not only a paramount surgeon in his field, he's also a pretty cool guy. He cares in a very calm, comforting and lighthearted way that makes a patient, no matter the severity of the injury or damage, feel relaxed and like he or she is in the best of hands. This is my second experience with Dr. Ackerman. He was previously my follow up orthopedist after a catastrophic comminuted pelvic fracture. In both cases I healed completely and in some instances my current capabilities are better than before my injuries.

Dr. Ackerman replaced my right knee over 15 years ago and I can say that I have had no complaints since then. When my right hip became a problem I returned to him. The appointment wait time was only 7 days. The office staff are thoughtful and kind. I feel confident that it will be a good experience and have full confidence in both him and his staff.

Dr. Ackerman is amazing. I had a total knee replacement. Went back to work a week after surgery and had full range of motion after a month. The follow up and care is top notch. Dr. Ackerman and his assistant Jeneva always take time to ensure that the patient feels valued.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ackerman since October of 2007. He did a left knee replacement in January of 2008. Every aspect of this procedure went extremely well. Dr. Ackerman and his entire team are the best you could ever ask for. There is no better feeling that knowing you are in very competent hands. This year, 11 years later and unfortunately 11 years older I had a right knee replacement in January and a right hip replacement in April. There was never a doubt in my mind that I didn't have the best orthopedic surgeon in the area. Everything went extremely well. Dr. Ackerman, his nurse, and his office staff are always there when you need them. If it wasn't for Dr. Ackerman I would never have had two major surgery's so close together. He is the best. Look no further. Andrea, Port St. Lucie, Florida

I had left knee replacement, October 2018, under workmen’s comp...Dr Ackerman was wonderful. I retired this last March and knew my right knee needed a replacement, Dr Ackerman was great with the first one so I didn’t hesitate to get the second one done by Dr Ackerman. We did the surgery 6/18/19. I feel great, back to all activities, golf for me,, pain-free! Dr Ackerman and his staff are very supportive with your recovery and personal goals. I would 100% recommend Dr Ackerman!

Dr. Ackerman and his staff are great. I did my research on orthopedist when I needed a hip replacement and I am extremely happy that I chose Dr. Ackerman. From the first step of the process, I felt like I was in great hands. I was well prepared for the surgery by his staff and things went seamlessly. I really appreciated his bedside manner. His assistant and the office staff were wonderful and extremely helpful.

This is just an additional follow-up review regarding Dr. Ackerman and his staff. We LOVE HIM and his staff...Jeneva is just as amazing! Dr. Ackerman is the definition of a caring doctor...he even changes my Mom's bandages instead of getting an assistant to do it. He makes her walk and he wants to see her progress. He is just wonderful. And Jeneva anticipates his every thought and action and works so well with him. They are both compassionate, competent and kind! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
