He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery, fellow member of both the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics, and an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Zoeller has special interests in international medicine and has volunteered in pre- and post-earthquake Haiti to perform surgery in children afflicted with a variety of neurosurgical conditions."
