Dr. Bird says...

Garrett grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, attended the University of Utah then went North to McGill University for their joint MD and Masters Degree in Surgery program. Seeking warmer climates he attended University of California San Francisco, Fresno in California for internal medicine, adult pulmonary medicine, and then adult critical care medicine. He decided to uproot his beautiful wife and three children to move to Houston, Texas for a fourth training program in a joint adult and pediatric sleep medicine program at Baylor College of Medicine. He is looking forward to working to improve the sleep habits and breathing of his patients.

Garrett uses the latest research and scientific evidence to treat his patients, but he maintains an interest in complementary and alternative medicine treatments for common pulmonary and sleep disorders. He has a special interest in alternatives to CPAP as well as complementary treatments for cough and sinus disorders. He is available for consult regarding adult pulmonary patients and both adult and pediatric sleep patients. He treats sleep disorders in children to help improve the lives of patients with ADHD, poor school performance, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
